We Have Arrived! Time to Trek...

It only took us 4 and a half months and 6 thousands miles to do it, but we have finally arrived in Corsica! Tomorrow afternoon we will make our way to the southern tip of the island where we will spend a night in beautiful Bonaficio before hitch hiking to the trailhead in Conca. The GR20, considered the hardest long distance trek in Europe, is composed of 15 individual parts and, on average, it takes two weeks to complete the trail. We have our fingers crossed that the weather conditions over the last few weeks have melted the snow enough in  Northern Corsica for us to complete the trail from beginning to end - a total of 110 miles. If not, well, we will just have to take it one day at a time...

We are asking our followers to donate $11.00 in an effort to bring us closer to our goal of raising $2000 for the Juvenile Justice Project of Louisiana's campaign to end the practice of sentencing youth to life in prison with no hope of release. All proceeds will be used to help families transition their children out of prison and bring them home.

A donation can be made in two ways: 1) through our sponsorship page, or, 2) through a page we have set up on causes.com:

To date we have raised $1449!
